About Smithers
Smithers is located in the Bulkley Valley of northwestern British Columbia, on the Trans Canada Yellowhead Highway, approximately half way between Prince Rupert and Prince George. Smithers is popular with tourists given its Alpine theme and its four seasons natural playground.

A Year of Challenges, Changes and Confidence
A time to reflect where it started and where it is and going. Last week were reminded by Google the seeds of what started on Alfred street in Smithers in 1998 have blown far and wide and touched upon hundreds of millions.
Perhaps the better understanding in it does little good to be on the front lines of research unless you can educate others to understand that research and its meaning as impacts.
